Following their exit in Love Island UK, Tommy and Lucy shared their thoughts about the decision made by Shakira and Ty. Tommy expressed confusion over the reasoning, saying,

“Shakira basically decided to vote us off for a reason in my opinion didn’t really make sense.”

Tommy admitted he was surprised by the outcome, especially after building a connection with Lucy in the final days. He described their elimination as sudden, saying it felt harsh that their journey was cut short. Lucy, who had joined the villa after Casa Amor, remained positive and said she had no regrets. In her exit interview, she stated,

“Even though mine was like short and sweet, I've still had a ball… Now I've got Tommy, too. So, win-win.”

Shakira later explained her decision by saying she had to protect the people she had stronger connections with, especially Conor, who she was still exploring a bond with. She also noted that Harrison was one of her closest friends in the villa.

While some Islanders like Helena felt the decision was unfair, Shakira responded that she did what she wanted to do and she was going to be "public enemy number one."

Yasmin responded to the news saying this could be "fun." As the evening progressed in Love Island UK, each girl stepped forward to make her decision. Toni chose Harrison, leading to visible tension as Lauren had spent time with him earlier.
