Love Island USA season 7 contestant Savannah “Vanna” Einerson has responded to the speculation about her appearance during the show. In the episode of The Viall Files podcast that aired on July 1, 2025, the 21-year-old Casa Amor Bombshell confirmed she had cosmetic procedures done on her lips and breasts.
However, she denied changing her cheeks or chin, adding that many of the online assumptions were not true. Vanna also talked about health issues she faced in the villa, saying that her on-screen appearance was affected by daily allergic reactions.
“I was having an allergic reaction every single day” from the pillows in the villa, she said.
Vanna further added:
“My eyes were swollen, my whole face is swollen. That’s why I looked overfilled.”
She shared that the comments online caused emotional stress after filming ended. The experience made her feel insecure about things she had never been self-conscious about before.
On the podcast, Love Island USA star Vanna spoke about the different rumors regarding her appearance. She said she had gotten work done on her lips and breasts but denied changing her cheeks or chin. These areas were often talked about online, but Vanna explained that they hadn’t been altered. She said that "most of the things," fans were speculating, were not even done by her.
Love Island USA star Vanna also said the assumptions felt unfair. She pointed out that once someone has one cosmetic procedure, people start to believe everything about their appearance has been changed.
“I feel like you get fake lips and they think everything on your face is fake,” she shared.
Vanna also shut down a rumor that her mother had done procedures on her when she was 14, calling it completely untrue. She said that her mom was a "stay-at-home" mom.
Vanna said it was tough to deal with the response after her time on Love Island USA. When filming ended and she got her phone back, she saw a lot of comments online about her appearance. “I broke down crying,” she shared, saying the reactions took her by surprise. She hadn’t expected people to pay so much attention to how she looked or to say such negative things about it.
During that time, fellow Islander Coco Watson helped her feel better. Vanna shared that Coco prayed for her, which meant a lot and gave her comfort when she was feeling low.
She also shared that reading the online posts made her notice parts of her face and body she had never thought twice about before. It made her feel unsure about things that hadn’t bothered her earlier. The comments created new doubts and made her more aware of how others were judging her, even though she hadn’t seen any issues with her appearance before joining the show.
“There were things that I never looked in the mirror and didn’t like,” she said.
The experience made her more self-conscious and brought up insecurities that weren’t there before appearing on Love Island USA. Vanna explained that her face looked different on TV because of something viewers didn’t see — she was having allergic reactions every day in the villa.
She believed the pillows were the cause and said the reactions made her eyes and face swell. This, she shared, is what made her appear overfilled on screen.
She said it was frustrating to be judged based on a version of herself that wasn’t real, especially since the criticism came from guesses and not facts. For Vanna, the experience showed how fast people make assumptions without knowing what’s really going on.
