Since 2010, Storage Wars has followed bidders competing with one another to score great deals on abandoned storage lockers. Two of those bidders, original stars Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz, were known for working as a duo, both bidding together, and sometimes deviating into on-screen arguments.

Even though they were not legally married, the couple had been together for a long time, owned a business together, and raised two children. The couple separation happened in 2018, but it had not become public until 2020. After the couple's separation, their paths on the show also changed.

Brandi returned on her own in season 15, which aired in 2023, while Jarrod did not appear.

Brandi returned in season 16 of Storage Wars as well, which premiered on June 7, 2025. This season was modified to a new one hour format, allowing for more auction time and the cast's interaction.

She becomes part of the main cast again, joining Dave Hester, Ivy Calvin, Kenny Crossley, and Rene & Casey Nezhoda.

Brandi has remained active on social media and with the show, but Jarrod does not appear in any of the most recent seasons and has been less active on social media.

After each continuing paths, both families can attract the attention of long-term Storage Wars fans.

Storage Wars’ Brandi & Jarrod went their separate ways

Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz were once a well-known duo on Storage Wars. They built a business, raised two children, and shared the screen for several seasons.

However, they started to grow apart in 2018, and their separation became public in 2020.

Brandi has spoken about how she handled much of the parenting even before the split. In an interview with People in 2021, she said,

“I did a lot of it on my own anyway, but it’s the scary dad voice in the background that we’re missing.”

Her statement suggested that parenting duties were not evenly shared, which may have created tension in their relationship. After the breakup, Brandi began posting more on social media.

In 2024, she shared a photo with her new partner, realtor Clifford Beaver. She also posted birthday wishes for him and included a set of pictures showing personal moments from their relationship.

Brandi returned to Storage Wars in 2023 for season 15. She stayed with the show for season 16, which aired in 2025.

This season brought a new one-hour format that gave more time for bidding, cast interactions, and behind-the-scenes moments. In a promo interview, Brandi said,

“You have to use a little misdirection with these fellas sometimes,” as she talked about her auction strategy.

Meanwhile, Jarrod has stayed out of the spotlight. His last known Instagram post was in 2022 and showed him with Rochel Beckman. At that time, Beckman posted,

“It’s crazy how much happier life can be when you are appreciated.”

Jarrod was also involved in a domestic incident in 2021, which led to a misdemeanor charge.

Since then, he has kept a low profile and has not returned to the show.

Brandi focuses on family as Jarrod stays out of spotlight

After the split, Brandi took on a more active role in raising their children, Cameron and Payton.

Both are now teenagers and generally stay out of the public eye. However, Brandi occasionally shares updates about them on social media.

In May 2024, she posted a baby photo of her son Cameron to celebrate his 21st birthday. She also promoted his crowd-funded film project, Are You Sure You’re Good To Drive?, where Cameron is listed as the writer and director. Brandi encouraged her followers to support the project.

Brandi also remains involved with Storage Wars. In season 16, she continues to be one of the main buyers.

With the new hour-long format, viewers get more time to see her strategies and interactions with other cast members.
