Longtime CBS News producer Michael Gavshon was accused by London-based 60 Minutes producer Cassandra Vinograd of sending an inappropriate photo and drinking excessively. She is suing CBS for gender discrimination and retaliation, alleging that she was punished for filing a complaint. Gavshon today released a statement saying the photo was of him urinating as a 17 years old, and that he sent it to Vinograd by mistake when he intended to send it to his sister. "The following day I went in early and reported the incident," he said. "I cooperated with an investigation by the company and was told not to come into work during the course of the investigation. I continue to regret this mistake and sincerely apologize for it."
