A potential CSI event series starring William Petersen and Jorja Fox is moving forward

Petersen and Fox are still in negotiations to to join what would be a sequel series, first revealed in February, to CSI to mark the franchise's 20th anniversary. They'll be joined by four new characters. Deadline reports CBS is hoping to start filming in the fall "when COVID conditions permit for Hollywood production to safely resume."
