The former Elementary star has found her next network TV role. In the untitled multicamera workplace comedy pilot formerly known as Bossy and Kids Matter Now, Liu will play the head of a successful modern furniture company who suddenly becomes a clueless mom. Her character, Devin, is "a diva boss who has no patience for working parents who adopts a baby and has a change of heart and whose mother-of-three assistant becomes an unlikely mentor, upending the office dynamics," per The Hollywood Reporter. The untitled show was created by former Friends writer Shana Goldberg-Meehan, the daughter of Family Ties creator Gary David Goldberg. Last year, Liu wrapped seven season of CBS' Elementary and starred in CBS All Access' Why Women Kill.
