AMC developing Anne Rice adaptation Lives of the Mayfair Witches

Lives of Mayfair Witches is the second in AMC’s planned Anne Rice universe, joining Interview with the Vampire. The TV series based on Rice's book trilogy "revolves around an intuitive young neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches," per The Hollywood Reporter. "As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations."
