The Paul Giamatti-produced drama starring Wyatt Russell as an ex-surfer wandering around Long Beach will return for a second 10-episode season after its first season received critical acclaim but few eyeballs. The AMC series averaged 350,000 same-day viewers. "Lodge 49 tells a funny, wise and meaningful story that immediately and deeply resonated with critics and viewers alike," said David Madden, president of programming at AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios, adding that "we are particularly proud of this series from both an AMC network and AMC Studios perspective and are looking forward to a return trip to the Lodge."
