Best friends Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman are playing Gretchen Carlson in dueling projects

It was announced today that Watts will star opposite Russell Crowe's Roger Ailes on The Loudest Voice in the Room, playing Gretchen Carlson on the Showtime limited series based on the late Fox News founder. In August, Kidman was cast as Gretchen Carlson opposite John Lithgow's Roger Ailes in a movie on the late Fox News chief's sexual misconduct scandals.
