The Simone Missick-led freshman legal drama will use footage that each series regular filmed within their homes -- with visual effects added in post-production -- for a timely episode that the show says “reflects the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing, and its impact on the criminal justice system.” The episode, airing May 4, will feature Missick's Judge Lola Carmichael virtually presiding over a bench trial. The entire episode, made with the cast and the crew abiding by social distancing rules, will utilize the applications FaceTime, WebEx and Zoom. “It’s a unique chance for our All Rise family to band together – in our different homes, even cities – to tell a story about resilience, justice and the power of community,” executive producer Greg Spottiswood said in a statement.
