Sunday's segment probing whether DeSantis showed favoritism to a corporate donor in deciding his vaccine rollout has generated outrage from the governor, who said it was “done with malicious intent and a reckless disregard for the truth." A CBS News spokesperson responded: “As we always do for clarity, 60 Minutes used the portion of the governor’s over 2-minute response that directly addressed the question from the correspondent.” Meanwhile, DeSantis said today "this is not over by any stretch of the imagination," adding "they went for the smear. They’ve been caught red-handed."
