CMT Music Awards announce a new date and plans for outdoor performances around Nashville

The CMT awards have been pushed back from Oct. 14 to Oct. 21 so they won't compete with the Billboard Music Awards. The new date, however, means, it will be competing with the Billboard Latin Music Awards, but there is no overlap between the two shows.
