Judd, one-half of Grammy-winning country music duo The Judds with daughter Wynonna Judd and the mother to actress Ashley Judd, died Saturday, 19 days after her last performance on the CMT Music Awards and one day before The Judds' induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. "Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness," Naomi Judd's family said in a statement. "We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory." In addition to singing, Naomi Judd had some acting roles, lending her voice to Frasier, guest-starring on 3rd Rock from the Sun and Touched by an Angel and starring last year on Lifetime's V.C. Andrews' Landry Family.
