The Simpsons executive producer Matt Selman was asked if a the recently shown "Dairy Girls Ice Creatm" was a reference to Dairy Queen or Derry Girls." Selman responded: "Derry Girls." Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee tweeted "I. Am. dead" in response. To which Selman responded: "It's the least we could do!"
