Iger was asked today at Disney's annual shareholders meetings if Kimmel's use of blackface portraying NBA Hall of Famer Karl Malone and Oprah Winfrey on The Man Show and Behar's revelation that she wore blackface on a 2016 episode of The View was held to different standards because they are comedians. Iger responded: “The specific incidents that you raised, we chose to deal with privately. We did not feel that it required any particular comment. And nor do we have anything to say about what actions we may have taken in that regard.”
