"Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19," the talk show host said in a tweeted statement this morning. "Fortunately, I'm feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines. Please stay healthy and safe. Love, Ellen." DeGeneres, who has been conducting in-person and virtual interviews since returning this fall, revealed the news to her staff in a letter. A spokesperson for The Ellen DeGeneres Show says her last taping was on Tuesday. As a result of her positive test, production will resume after the New Year. DeGeneres' announcement comes one day after Buzzfeed News released another exposé, alleging that her workplace misconduct scandal has led to a drop in viewership, a loss of sponsors and fewer A-list guests.
