Party Girls, a 1970s-set single-camera dramedy, is inspired by the true story of Ericka Suzanne, whose mom Elaine Brown was the first female leader of the Black Panther Party. The comedy will follow Suzanne's attempt to survive her adolescence in 1970s Oakland while her mother rises through the ranks of the Black Panther Party.
