Game of Thrones creators sets their third Netflix show, The Overstory, with producer Hugh Jackman

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will adapt Richard Powers' Pulitzer Prize-winning 2018 novel with the author and Jackman on board as executive producers. Here's how Netflix describes the drama, currently in the development stage: "A sweeping, impassioned work of activism and resistance that is also a stunning evocation of the natural world. It tells the story of a world alongside ours that is vast, interconnected, resourceful, magnificently inventive and almost invisible to us. A handful of disparate people learn how to see that world and are drawn into its unfolding catastrophe." The Overstory is Benioff and Weiss' third show for Netflix, joining The Three-Body Problem and The Chair.
