HBO said it received "no complaints" about Joss Whedon before his exit from The Nevers

HBO and HBO Max chief content officer Casey Bloys told The Wrap at the TV press tour there were “no complaints” about The Nevers creator before his abrupt exit last fall. "No, we had no, no complaints or no reports of inappropriate behavior," Bloys said hours after Charisma Carpenter accused Whedon of abusive behavior on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel sets.
