Is David Letterman returning to standup comedy with Dave Chappelle's help?

"I just saw a photo taken today of Dave Letterman and Dave Chappelle sitting on a bench in what appears to be Yellow Springs, Ohio," tweeted Letterman biographer Jason Zinoman, referring to the village where Chappelle lives and hosted last month's social distanced Netflix comedy special 8:46. "So big day for midwestern Daves who I have written books about." Zinoman added: "Letterman returning to standup is a good hook for a Netflix series about these Chappelle summer shows. Just saying." Letterman could also be filming a new season of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
