Jimmy Kimmel Live! boss exits after half a year

Sharon Hoffman, who became Kimmel's lead executive producer early last summer, is departing after just six months. Hoffman succeeded longtime Jimmy Kimmel Live! executive producer Jill Leiderman, who helmed the show since 2006. Hoffman came from a news background and oversaw Kimmel's show as he went on hiatus and featured celebrity guest hosts.
