Lizzy Caplan: Kathy Bates sent me flowers in response to playing Castle Rock's Annie Wilkes

Caplan says she didn't have contact with Bates before playing a younger version of her Misery character Annie Wilkes. “She sent me flowers, which was, like, a moment. It was so classy and amazing. And she's amazing,” Caplan tells ET, adding that she already sent a gift in return. “It’s supposed to arrive tomorrow,” she says. “I mean, she hasn’t said she wants to hang out yet.”
