As first announced in April 2019, Myers will play seven new characters on his six-episode comedy series that is currently in production. He'll be joined by Jeong, Key, Debi Mazar, Jennifer Saunders, Richard McCabe and Lydia West. "In the half-hour series, five men have been working to influence world events for the greater good since the Black Plague of 1347," according to Variety. "As the show begins, one unlikely Canadian journalist finds himself embroiled in a mission to uncover the truth and just possibly save the world himself. Fans of Myers will recall that he referenced The Pentaverate in the 1993 film So I Married an Axe Murderer, in which he played both the film’s lead, Charlie Mackenzie, as well as his outspoken Scottish father, Stuart."
