NBA legend Bill Russell apoloigzes for flipping the bird live on TNT

Russell was shown flipping his middle finger during last night's NBA Awards when Charles Barkley and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar were presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to Oscar Robertson. "Sorry everyone," Russell tweeted. "I forgot it was live TV & I can’t help myself whenever I see Charles it just is pure instinct."
