Titled Glory Game, the potential series plans to dramatize the history of the modern NFL based on the late NFL Hall of Famer and Monday Night Football broadcaster's 2008 memoir The Glory Game: How the 1958 NFL Championship Changed Football Forever. Season 1 will focus on Gifford's time with the New York Giants, which included the groundbreaking 1958 NFL Championship Game that played an important role in making the NFL America's Game. Other seasons will feature teams and players from other eras. “To paraphrase the great John Madden, the modern NFL began with the 1958 NFL Championship, and there was no one better to tell the story of that game and the league’s subsequent development than my father,” said Cody Gifford, the son of Frank and Kathie Lee Gifford and founder of Gifford Media Group, which is producing the project.
