Nat Geo hopes to focus on a female Genius for Season 3

After tackling Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso for the first two seasons, Genius showrunner Ken Biller was asked when there will be a female Genius season. “While we certainly intend to and hope to tell stories about women, we didn’t restrict ourselves in that way,” he said, adding: “Hopefully for the next season we’ll find a woman to explore.”
