Robert Hogan, Peyton Place star and The Wire actor, dies at 87

Hogan appeared on more than 100 TV series from the 1950s through the 2010s, from The Mary Tyler Moore Show to The Twilight Zone to Hawaii Five-O. His most memorable roles include playing the Rev. Tom Winter for two seasons of Peyton Place and Louis Sobotka, the father of Pablo Schreiber’s character on The Wire.
