Rose McGowan accuses Harvey Weinstein of rape — and alleges Amazon dropped her show after she complained

In a series of tweets this afternoon directed at Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, McGowan said she informed Amazon’s programming chief Roy Price — who’s now the subject of his own sexual harassment scandal — that Weinstein raped her. McGowan tweeted that, in response, he said her allegation "hadn't been proven." McGowan tweeted she already sold a script for a show to Amazon. But after she complained she tried to get he script back only to be informed that “my show was dead.” A rep for Weinstein responded to McGowan's rape allegation by saying: “Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein.”
