Showtime's New York Times docuseries will show President Trump on the phone with White House reporter Maggie Haberman

New York Times White House reporter Haberman has been called Trump's "snake charmer" because he likes to speak exclusively and frankly to her in private, while bashing her in public -- like when he tweeted that she was a "Hillary flunky" on Sunday morning. Showtime revealed that The Fourth Estate will show Trump talking to Haberman for one of his newsmaker interviews. As Slate wrote last year of Haberman, "she handles her thin-skinned subject with the tact and grace of an old-school talk therapist, disbursing neutral prompts to draw him out and keep him going."
