Star Trek will celebrates its 55th birthday with a live-streamed "Star Trek Day" event

Sept. 8 will mark the 55th anniversary of the launch of Star Trek: The Original Series. To celebrate, CBS will livestream an online event hosted by The Next Generation’s Wil Wheaton and actor/host/streamer Mica Burton. The event will feature interviews, a live orchestra and news about the future of the franchise. Watch the trailer.
