Terence Winter exits HBO Max's The Batman TV spinoff over creative differences

The Boardwalk Empire creator, who was announced in July as writing and serving as showrunner on Matt Reeves' TV spinoff of The Batman has departed the HBO Max series, reports The Hollywood Reporter, which adds that Winter's vision of the show wasn't what Reeves and other producers had in mind. A search is underway for a new showrunner.
