The ABC daytime show was down to two regular co-hosts (Sunny Hostin and Meghan McCain) today as Goldberg took the day off to consult with her doctors. “To be extra careful about her health, Whoopi is consulting with her doctor today,” Hostin explained at the top of the show. “She wants everyone to know she feels fine and plans on being back here tomorrow. We know that Whoopi had pneumonia, and was not in a good place. So, she just wants to get checked out and make sure that it’s smart for her to be here every day.” Joy Behar is already taking the week off to avoid contracting the coronavirus. In the meantime, The View has added a bigger table that keeps the co-hosts apart. Today, ABC News' Sara Haines and Dr. Mehmet Oz filled in for Goldberg and Behar. McCain spent this morning ripping Baby Boomers and Millennials for not taking coronavirus seriously. “I have been furious, furious at Baby Boomers and Millennials — and I’m kind of a Millennial, but I’m an old one — for people who would just have the hubris and arrogance to ignore what’s going on,” said the conservative co-host. “You think this is fine? Go look at the video I just told you about of Italians giving us a warning. It’s a canary in a coal mine.”
