"We're back," Dan Fogelman tweeted this morning, accompanied by a photo of a socially distanced mask-wearing Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia in costume as production began this morning on Season 6 of the NBC drama. Fogelman's tweet comes the day after NBC announced This Is Us' season premiere was moving up from Nov. 10 to Oct. 27. Ahead of his return to work, Sterling K. Brown says the first two episodes "brilliantly" tackle Black Lives Matter. "It was as huge from a writer's perspective as it was from mine," Brown tells People. "I think Randall offers such a unique perspective. Being a Black man raised in a white family, there's a very specific prism through which he sees the world, and I think the writers have captured it brilliantly. Our first two episodes are outstanding. As long as we, as actors, are able to execute what the writing has provided us an opportunity to do. I think our fans will be very, very, very happy." UPDATE: Mandy Moore announces she's pregnant with her first child.
