On Saturday night, The Daily Show host became the first comedian to share a stage with the president of the United States at the White House Correspondents' Dinner since Larry Wilmore emceed the final WHCD of the Obama presidency in 2016. In a 26-minute set, Noah took aim at President Biden, CNN+, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Ron DeSantis, Chuck Todd, Meghan McCain, Laura Ingraham, Jen Psaki, Jeff Zucker and Chris Cuomo. He even mocked Jeffrey Toobin for his masturbation incident. Noah criticized the media for even hosting the WHCD, saying it is a “great honor to be speaking at the nation’s most distinguished superspreader event...I expect this from Sean Hannity, but the rest of you, what are you doing? You spent the last two years telling everyone the importance of wearing masks and avoiding large indoor gatherings. Then the second someone offers you a free dinner, you turn into Joe Rogan.” Noah also made a point that he was doing what journalists in Russia couldn't. “In America, you have the right to seek the truth and speak the truth, even if it makes people in power uncomfortable,” Noah said. “Even if it makes viewers or readers uncomfortable. You understand how amazing that is? I stood here tonight and I made fun of the president of the United States and I’m going to be fine.” Turning to Biden, he asked: “I’m going to be fine, right?”
