Turner Sports inks a $3.75 billion, 7-year deal with Major League Baseball

Turner will be paying MLB $535 million a year for seven years, a 65% increase over the previous contract. The deal will create a Tuesday game of the week, which doubles the number of regular-season games from the previous deal. The official announcement also calls for MLB games on "additional WarnerMedia platforms," likely meaning HBO Max's upcoming ad-supported tier.
