    FaZe Banks was in a relationship with Alissa Violet a couple of years ago. The duo parted ways in 2019, following a public announcement on social media. While they drifted apart quite some time back, recent rumors indicated that they might have rekindled their love yet again.

    Amid the ongoing cryptocurrency controversy and news of Banks stepping down as the CEO of FaZe Clan, netizens have been getting curious about the streamer's relationship update and everything that happened between him and Violet. 

    In between investors blaming the CEO for hyping the coin, leading to them incurring losses after a decline in publicity, he denied the accusations and addressed the fiasco in an official statement on the X (formerly Twitter) platform. He reacted to the accusations surfacing on the internet, conveying,

    "I’ve never scammed anyone a day in my f*cking life. The entire narrative is unfair and part of the reason it exists is cause my 'FaZe' name is so easily farmed and manipulated."

    Clarifying his message and announcing his decision to leave the organization he co-founded, he further added,

    "The fact this is affecting the guys at all, is whack. So for the time being I’m gunna be stepping away from not only FaZe, but all this internet shit. It’s destroying my life inside and out. Sucks my entire life gets ruined over something I didn’t even do. The real ones know. I wish I could say I’ll be back, but I really don’t know if I will."

    A look at FaZe Banks and Alissa Violet's relationship

    Their love story began in 2017

    According to a 2017 Teen Vogue report, Banks and Violet started dating that year, after the latter parted ways with YouTuber Jake Paul. Though they dropped affectionate content on social media, they did not delve into naming their connection on the internet initially. 

    As per the report, speculations began after Alissa shared a photo of kissing her then-beau at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. The rumors were fueled further after Banks, too, hinted at this new romance by releasing a vlog, "My New Girlfriend?"

    He can be seen expressing,

    "Over the past week, we’ve kinda developed, like, a weird little thing. I’ve been with her every day for the past week; we’ve been spending a lot of time together and I really f*cking like this girl."

    His statement prompted more gossip, guesses, and buzz on social media about an alleged relationship brewing between the pair. Often fondly called 'Balissa,' the former lovebirds frequently featured together in videos and social media posts, building a strong online presence during their relationship of around two years.

    As the outlet reported in September 2017, Alissa later moved into FaZe Clout House to live with her partner. During her relocation, she filmed the entire process of leaving her earlier home and shifting with her boyfriend, making this move and their relationship official.

    They broke up in 2019

    In July 2019, FaZe Banks and Alissa Violet confirmed their decision to move ahead with their lives on social media. They announced their separation on X on July 5.

    Banks shared the news with his fans, adding,

    "Alissa and I decided about a month ago that we should take some time apart. Love that girl to death and always will. I’ll never say a bad word about her. This shits about as hard to deal with as it gets. Please respect our privacy through this. 💔"

    In the next post, the streamer cleared the air, noting that it was a mutual decision. He also praised his former girlfriend for having a wonderful soul, saying,

    "To clarify too, this wasn’t one sided by any means. Just like everything else we’ve ever done, it was a team decision. Alissa is the most amazing soul I’ve ever come in contact with. She deserves love and support. She’ll continue to have mine forever."

    While FaZe provided an elaborate explanation about his breakup with Alissa, she kept her announcement crisp and even cryptic for many. Without detailing much, the YouTuber wrote,

    "single violet thrives"

    Back in mid-2019, their estrangement seemed a mutual and no-fuss decision. However, netizens reported another angle to the entire fiasco, with Alissa hinting at FaZe cheating on her. All the attention spanned on her after she responded to a tweet by X user @breelea_.

    On December 2, 2019, she replied to the user asking her, "How did you find out you were being cheated on?" revealing,

    "i was asleep upstairs with our dogs and he wasn’t next to me so i checked our guest house and caught him naked in bed with a random girl"

    Within a short period, her response went viral with thousands of retweets, prompting an official statement from Banks. Amid backlash, negativity, and allegations of sleeping with other women while romantically linked to Violet, the FaZe Clan CEO tried to right the wrongs with a long explanation on X.

    The next day, on December 3, he dedicated his public message to Alissa and shared two screenshots of his thoughts and comments on the accusations written on his Notes app. His statement began with,

    "I could spend the next few minutes listing all the horrible things Alissa has done to me and why we didn't workd and why I did what I did. Obviously there's 2 sides to every story and neither of us have been perfect. Rather than contribute to all of that I'm going to do the right things and take responsibility for where I've gone wrong in this."

    Admitting to facing challenges in the relationship, he confessed to doing "something really stupid and hurtful." Setting the record straight, Banks further continued,

    "There's additional context and it's not as simple as who's right and who's wrong. It doesn't even matter at this point, what matters is that we're both humans and we've both definitely hurt each other."

    Looking back at what he did and the obstacles he and Violet faced during their romance, he also pointed out,

    "We've been broken up for 6 months now and this incident happened almost a full year ago. It's haunted both of us for a long time. We all fuck up, that's human. What that girl and I shared was special. One in a billion special. Something that I don't expect to share with another human for as long as I'm alive. We had issues and couldn't fix them. We were miserable together for a while and couldn't ever let each other go. I think I speak for both of us when I say the love was and always will be a very REAL thing. Which is why I refuse to let our very intimate, private relationship become a spectacle online. It's heart breaking."

    Alissa's revelation shocked FaZe. Discussing their private anecdotes on social media was completely unexpected, as he claimed that he and Violet "were always both very much on the same page about making sure" about the information they could post online to a massive audience following. Expressing his affection for Alissa and opening up his heart for his actions, he wrote emotionally,

    "But again I see that she's. hurt and I understand where it's coming from. Liss if you're reading this love you, it hurts me a lot that you're hurt, but I promise hurting me won't make you feel better. I wish every day that it could've been different. I will never ever not love you and l'll always be here. I truly do wish the best for you. I won't ever say a bad word about her, so sorry for everyone who wanted another sip of tea. You won't find that here. I'm sorry, I love you all"

    Earlier this year, in March, netizens seemed convinced about the exes falling in love, yet again. However, FaZe wasted no moment in showing the actual truth. Responding to a tweet by @yoxics claiming that the duo is back together, the streamer stated,

    "Absolutely not. Love her to death though, that’s my family forever"

    Despite a past ugly beef on social media, Dexerto confirmed that FaZe Banks and Alissa Violet share a mutual and cordial friendship now.
