A David Beckham docuseries is in the works at Netflix. The new series will explore the former soccer star's "working class beginnings" in East London, said the streamer, and "the drive and determination" that led to his success.
The docuseries will feature never-before-seen personal archive footage from the last 40 years, as well as interviews with Beckham, his family and friends, and important figures who have been a part of his life and career.
Academy Award-winner Fisher Stevens (Palmer, And We Go Green, The Cove) will direct the series, which is being produced by Beckham's Studio 99.
