Eminem Blasts Pete Davidson's Rap Parody in Unaired SNL Sketch

In a cut for time sketch from the Saturday Night Live Season 47 finale, departing cast member Pete Davidson pays tribute to boss Lorne Michaels with a rap parody of Eminem's "Forgot About Dre," featuring a surprise cameo from the rapper himself.

The sketch opens with host Natasha Lyonne telling Davidson that Michaels is upset he'll never fulfill his dream of starring in a music video parody with the comedian. Lyonne then holds up a crumpled up piece of paper she claims to have found in the trash, featuring the script for the music video.

“That guy has literally done everything for me, so I’m going to pay him back by doing this rap video exactly the way he wrote it,” Davidson says, before donning a Michaels-esque suit and gray wig and launching into his rap.

“So what do you say about a comedy great? Been doing it himself for half a century straight,” Davidson raps.

Towards the end of the video, though, Eminem interrupts, asking if this is another parody tribute. “Yeah, this is like the third one,” replies Davidson.

“They all suck. Just please, stop,” says Eminem, adding, “Pete, don’t f*cking do it again.”

The sketch ends with Davidson standing alone on stage before turning to Michaels and shouting, "Well Lorne, you blew it!"
