As Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot's alleged affair continues to make headlines, a video showing the pair seemingly kissing has gone viral. On Friday, July 18, 2025, TMZ released footage claiming to show the pair amid a more intimate interaction.

For context, Byron and Cabot, head of HR at Astronomer, were caught in an embrace on the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert last week. Clips from the moment circulating online showed them looking visibly uncomfortable, prompting Chris Martin to joke they might be "having an affair". Since then, internet users have speculated on their relationship, many criticizing them for their alleged infidelity.

As the footage went viral, internet users were quick to react. One suggested:

"Yeah this was definetly a set up."

Many continued to assert that the pair were cheating, TMZ's video being evidence of the same.

"Even if they didn’t show him on the jumbotron bro is still in a company suite what did he think was gonna happen," one commented.
"Sorry but I’ll never feel bad for a cheater. This is sooooo messy," another stated.
"Man this video is real proof, he is literally kissing her multiple times , now both of them can't even deny," a person wrote.

Others noted that people were harassing Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot.

"Okay the internet is harassing them now… like y’all already did enough to make it clear that he’s cheating… but y’all invading their privacy now…," one pointed out.
"Why do we care so much? Nobody knew these people last week.. like it was funny at first but literally who cares at this point," another added.
"trust tmz to escalate every situation that’s already worse," a user noted.

Astronomer placed Andy Byron on leave with co-founder Pete DeJoy as interim CEO

In TMZ's footage, Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot can be seen huddling close as Coldplay sang their 2000 hit, Yellow. They can be seen enjoying the concert, laughing and swaying hand-in-hand.

Byron and Cabot went viral after the kiss cam at the Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts on Wednesday caught the pair in an embrace. Their immediate reaction of ducking out of view upon seeing themselves on the jumbotron prompted Coldplay frontman Chris Martin to quip:

"Oh look at these two... either they're having an affair or they're very shy."

Since then, Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot's alleged affair has taken the internet by storm. Many continue to debate the cheating and its implications for the pair's families. On the other hand, the moment spiraled into several parody accounts, fake statements, and memes.

Citing Axios, the NY Post reported that Astronomer has placed both Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot on leave. Per the outlet, the CEO was stalling his resignation as he negotiated an exit package.

On Friday, the company announced that it had launched an investigation into the matter. It also added that Byron had not released any statements, noting that any posts suggesting otherwise were false. In a separate update, Astronomer confirmed Byron's leave. Further, Pete DeJoy, the company's co-founder and chief product officer, was named its interim CEO.

According to the NY Post, amid the scandal, internet users identified Andy Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, on Facebook. While her account has since been deleted, she reportedly dropped her last name before her exit. Meanwhile, Cabot was married to Kenneth Thornby, but the pair finalized their divorce in 2022, per the outlet.

Per Men's Journal, both Byron and Cabot deleted their respective LinkedIn accounts. Astronomer, too, has limited its posts on social media.

Neither Andy Byron nor Kristin Cabot has publicly released a statement as of this writing.
