Add "Trump impersonator" to Jamie Foxx's long lists of talents.
There may be one too many Donald Trump impressions out there, but Foxx proved that he's among the best during an appearance on the Rap Radar podcast this week. Foxx appeared alongside Snoop Dogg for the installment and thrilled hosts Brian ‘B.Dot’ Miller and Elliott Wilson with his uncanny take on the former president.
"There’s a lot of great people on both sides. Lots of great people on both sides. I know Harry O, he’s a great person. He couldn’t vote for me at the time. Now he can vote for me once he gets out," says Foxx, summoning Trump's physicality, too. "I love Snoop D, O, double-G. Great person," he continues, gesturing to his neighbor. After causing the room to roar with laughter during some discussion about Death Row Records, he moves on to discuss COVID.
"They tried to give me the virus, I beat the virus," he intones as Trump before breaking character. "They tried to give him the virus? I was like, who is ‘they’?! That motherf*cker said 'I beat the virus,'... I was like ‘f*ck yeah, he beat it!'... Motherf*cking Trump, boy."
Trump is just one of the many great impressions Foxx has showcased. In the past, he's wowed with his takes on Barack Obama, Mike Tyson, and Dave Chappelle, to name a few.
