Krysten Ritter to Star in Orphan Black Sequel Series

Krysten Ritter has signed on to star in a new Orphan Black sequel series, titled Orphan Black: Echoes, coming to AMC.

Set in the near future, Orphan Black: Echoes follows a group of women who are unraveling the mystery of their identity. Ritter will play Lucy, a woman with a mysterious origin story trying to find her place in the world.

Ritter will also executive produce the series, which has been given a 10-episode order. It is slated premiere on AMC in 2023.

The original Orphan Black starred Tatiana Maslany, who played several genetically identical human clones. The series focused primarily on Sarah Manning, who struggled to solve the mystery of her identity.

Orphan Black is available to stream on Prime Video.
