Fox Sports suffered a camera glitch seconds before Game 1 between the Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays started

Game 1 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays happened on Friday, October 24, 2025. A strange camera glitch happened while Fox Sports was covering the event, thus shocking and confusing the viewers. As previously mentioned, the glitch happened just seconds before the match began.

Sports commentator Joe Davis was speaking live on air, and the camera suddenly began zooming in and out. During this period, Davis was giving pre-match intros on the network. The camera kept zooming in and shaking, thus indicating a technical glitch. The constant disturbance led Joe Davis and MLB Hall of Famer John Smoltz to move out of frame.

This prompted a number of netizens to take to social media to understand what was happening. Many seemed quite shocked about the malfunction since Fox Sports has been broadcasting the World Series since the year 2000. Netizens further reacted and shared their take on the apparent camera glitch by Fox Sports.

    One X user commented,

"What the heck happened to the camera in Fox's booth?"

The teams have a few more upcoming matches to play against each other. The final one is reportedly set to take place November 1, 2025, with the match scheduled for 5.30 am local time.

As far as the tweet by @FearedBuck is concerned, it is unclear as to what glitch happened that led to the network allegedly publishing the match results early.
