    Pirate Software recently made headlines. Not for his streaming videos on YouTube or sharing content on Instagram, he grabbed netizens' attention due to Billy Mitchell targeting him on the X (former Twitter) platform.

    Billy Mitchell criticized the Twitch streamer and made an X post on June 5, 2025.

    He wrote in his direct post,

    "Pirate Software will be sued."

    A look at Pirate Software's reaction to Billy Mitchell’s recent remark

    Mitchell’s X post, uploaded on Saturday, garnered the spotlight and left many wondering. As Dexerto reported, he did not add further details about the reason behind suing Pirate Software or who would take the official action against the streamer.

    Sometime later on Saturday, Pirate Software addressed the X post that hinted at him. A viewer drew focus to Billy's post during a live Twitch session. Also widely famous as Thor, the streamer was playing Dune: Awakening at that time.

    He cracked up as soon as he saw the much-talked-about post and responded to it, commenting,

    "Oh, he’s just insane. Okay, no, he did actually talk about me."

    Opening up about discussing the unexpected matter with his legal team, he also said,

    "I’ll just send it over to my legal team, whatever man. Okay bud, have fun with that s*it."

    Billy Mitchell expressed his opinions on suing Pirate Software at a time when the latter is already involved in a controversy for his comments on the Stop Killing Games campaign. He alleged the incident escalated to him receiving a major backlash, swatting incidents, and threats hinting at the danger of death as well.

    Amid the ongoing conflict, Mitchell's post raises eyebrows. It is still not understandable whether his views are connected to the Stop Killing Games uproar or stem from an entirely separate issue, Dexerto also reported.

    Several X users were equally unsure about Billy's recent remark on Pirate Software. Many among them commented under his post and shared their opinions to understand what it is all about.

    A confused netizen @RaccoonPuppetry asked,

    "Why, what did he do"

    Another X user with the username @Ambersulfr, wrote,

    "Misrepresenting a EU petition is a really big deal, isn’t it? Isn’t that considered interference in the electoral process? I’m not familiar with EU law."

    @Blacknatwatch mocked Mitchell and asked,

    "Have you considered suing your barber first?"

    @DamagedSector reacted to the post, adding.

    "Incoming Stop Killing Hot Sauce initiative."

    @sanakuma4 expressed their thoughts, saying,

    "I wonder if those people in that one World of Warcraft raid years ago are finally suing him for intentionally sabotaging an elite raid, and causing everyone to lose their characters and gear as a result. That's a lot of money lost there in value lost."

    X user @LuthasterianTV hilariously asked,

    "Why? I get that he rubs some people the wrong way, but being a dingus on the internet isn't exactly a crime."

    @VileZarte12046 took a dig at Mitchell under the post.

    The comment reads,

    "can you just get a real job instead of being a complete dork that still thinks anyone cares about the world record of donkey Kong? I mean really?"

    X user @PotionDweller has a strong point. He commented,

    "With his personality? It is certainly possible. I'd be curious to see who and over what."

    Curious netizen @classicstevet enquired,

    "For what? genuinely curious."

    @HRSmith2189 targeted Mitchell and wrote,

    "I think you are a probably cheater, I think you are overly proud, I have many opinions about you. But in this instance..... You're alright. Besides, one thing I'd definitely never deny about you is the fact you have an S-Tier legal team."
