When you're known for being a real estate agent on a hit reality show, it isn't a great look when the world suddenly thinks you've only ever sold seven homes. Actress-turned-Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause is speaking out after she says a profile in W Magazine misquoted her.
During the interview, Stause was asked how much she actually works in real estate given her reality star status and career as an actress who has starred in soaps like All My Children and Days of Our Lives.
"As of June, I think I've done seven deals so far in real estate," Stause answered. "It's not a ton of deals. I obviously could be doing a lot more if that were my sole focus, but it isn't."
Media outlets began circulating the story that the real estate agent had only ever sold seven homes. Stause was quick to defend herself, claiming she was misquoted by the magazine and that she meant she had only sold seven homes so far in 2022. The actress tweeted, "This YEAR. I know what you tried to do here."

It appears that since Stause's tweet that the W Magazine feature has updated her quote to read, "...seven deals so far in real estate [this year.]" Other articles, such as the one shared by Stause from People, have also been updated to reflect her clarification.
Selling Sunset is currently streaming on Netflix.
