A particularly harrowing case causes a detective to question everything in The Calling.
The trailer for the Peacock original series introduces us to NYPD Detective Avraham Avraham (Jeff Wilbusch), a man whose "belief in mankind is his superpower" when it comes to cracking cases and finding the truth. His spirituality and religious principles are put to the test, however, when his search for a woman's missing son goes terribly awry.
"Every single one of us, at some point in our life, has a 'what do I do?' moment," says Avraham. "This would be your moment."
Adapted from Dror Mishani's book series, The Calling comes from showrunner David E. Kelley (Boston Legal, Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers) and stars Wilbusch, Juliana Canfield (Succession), Karen Robinson (Schitt's Creek), and Michael Mosley (Ozark). Other actors set to appear include Noel Fisher (Shameless), Constance Zimmer (Boston Legal), Steven Pasquale, and more.
The Calling launches on Peacock November 10.
