The fatal plane crash on June 8, 2025, off the coast of San Diego killed six, including pilot Landon Baldwin and his pregnant wife, Torrie Baldwin, who was pregnant with their third child.
Alongside the mourning of their loss, a GoFundMe campaign created in memory of the couple has raised more than $33,000 to benefit their two surviving young kids, Heston and Kiana. Landon, 28, and Torrie, 25, were devoted parents and involved in their faith and community, according to their family.
"Everything they did, every dream, every plan, was for their kids. Their loss is unimaginable, especially for the little ones left behind who now face a future without the love and presence of their incredible parents," the GoFundMe campaign read.
According to their obituary, Landon Baldwin was a humble and true disciple of Jesus Christ. The obituary describes him as a reflection of the love of God personified.
UPDATE: Names of the six victims released: Pilot, Landon Baldwin, and his wife, Torrie Beus Baldwin; and Jeremy Bingham, and his sons, Ayden, Gavin, and Bailey Bingham. All from Arizona.

Torrie Baldwin, on the other hand, was described as a vibrant force, fiercely loyal and always up for an adventure. A 2017 graduate of Pima High School and proud Roughrider, she went on to obtain an associate degree at EAC. The duo got married to each other on December 7, 2018.
In the aftermath of the tragedy, friends and family set up a GoFundMe to raise funds for Heston and Kiana, who will now have to adjust to a life without their parents. The fundraiser states that the donations will allow the family to take care of the children in the days and years to come.
"The road forward will not be easy, but with help, we can offer some stability and care for these children who now need their village more than ever," the campaign added.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) released a preliminary report on the moments leading up to the crash. After leaving San Diego, the pilot supposedly radioed air traffic control to say he was “struggling” with the plane, officials said.
According to People, the controllers provided a low altitude alert and instructed Landon Baldwin to increase his altitude, but he reported having control problems. Attempts to divert the plane to a local airport failed, and the plane took several erratic turns before it plunged into the Pacific Ocean about a mile off Point Loma.
