"When I was 17, I wanted to be a gangster," says Sylvester Stallone in the teaser for Tulsa King, a new series coming to Paramount+.
Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi (Stallone) as he's released from prison after 25 years. Upon his release, The General is sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma, but when he realizes his mob family no longer cares about him, he sets out to build a new "crew," hoping to establish a criminal empire in Tulsa.
The series, which marks Stallone's first regular TV role, hails from Yellowstone boss Taylor Sheridan. Sheridan has been a prolific creator for Paramount+, shepherding multiple Yellowstone spinoffs to the service as well as Jeremy Renner drama Mayor of Kingstown and Zoe Saldaña's upcoming series Lioness.
In addition to Stallone, Tulsa King stars Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, and Garrett Hedlund.
Tulsa King premieres November 13 on Paramount+.
