The storied film franchise The Mighty Ducks is getting revived as a Disney+ series, and we're getting a first peek in this trailer for The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.
Emilio Estevez returns as Gordon Bombay, the embittered owner of an ice rink who has washed out of his big-league dreams. Meanwhile, the Ducks have become a powerhouse organization — "a little different than the Ducks of the '90s" — with a cutthroat head coach (Dylan Playfair, one of the hockey bros from Letterkenny). When her son Evan gets rejected by the team, Alex (Lauren Graham) strives to organize a new hockey team that's more fun-oriented, and tries to recruit Gordon to coach them.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers premieres on Disney+ March 26.
