The View delivered a morning full of Trump talk on Wednesday as the ladies discussed the former, twice-impeached president's announcement that he plans to run for a third time in 2024.
While they previously declared Trump "the single biggest loser" of the midterms, the co-hosts were careful not to downplay his chances of reaching the White House again. "I've seen this movie before," said Ana Navarro. "I made the mistake and many other Republicans made the mistake in 2016 of not taking Trump seriously. I'm not making that mistake twice."
"I'm telling you all: Don't get numb to it. Don't laugh about it. Don't get tired of it. We beat him once. We can beat him twice if we have to!" she continued. "Because he belongs in the big house, not the White House. And under no circumstance can Americans get exhausted and not fight hard as hell so this guy is nowhere near the presidency ever, ever, ever again."

Sunny Hostin echoed Navarro's sentiment and implored the media to remember that Trump announced in order to avoid a potential DOJ indictment. "He's trying to grift. His legal bills, they're very expensive because he's done a lot of things," she said.
"What we shouldn't do is what we did the last time. The media made him more and more and more famous," Hostin added. "I think we can make this twice-impeached, disgraced, almost-indicted former president — we can pay attention to the criminal if he's indicted, but let's not pay so much attention to this guy trying to grift and make money off the presidency."

And as she's done for the past few weeks, Alyssa Farah Griffin delivered a message directly to her fellow Republicans. "It's time for sound-minded Republicans to come together — governors, senators — and decide, 'Who are we going to put all of our energy behind, all of our resources?' To put that person up against him and try to take him down, once and for all," she said. "Because that's the only way we don't get nominee Donald Trump."
.@Alyssafarah: "You're going to see new converts away from Trump-ism in the coming weeks ... and as somebody who changed my mind on him probably too late, I welcome those people."

Griffin went on to predict that the next few months will bring "new converts away from Trumpism" who can help redirect the Republican Party. "As somebody who changed my mind on him probably too late, I welcome those people," she said. "You're gonna get called 'complicit.' You're gonna be told your voice doesn't matter, but it does. To defeat him we need a winning coalition against him, so it's never too late to come to the right side."
