As our own Joe Reid writes, December has become one strange beast in the Peak TV era. Once a quiet time of year that was largely populated by reruns has given way to event programming big, small (and odd). Tonight’s second night of Crisis on Infinite Earths falls neatly into the “big” category, as The CW’s Arrowverse crossover event picks up on Batwoman following last night's shocker of a twist. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Monday:
CROSSOVER EVENT: Crisis on Infinite Earths continues as Batwoman and the rest of the crew search for a mysterious resident of the planet Krypton, as well as a gentleman named Bruce Wayne (played by Batman: The Animated Series' Kevin Conroy). 8:00 PM ET on The CW
NEW EPISODES: An event series of an entirely different sort, Fox unspools two new installments in its six-part holiday series, The Moodys. Tonight's episodes involve Christmas caroling, unexpected visitors, and Sean Jr.'s (Jay Baruchel) decision to join his father's business. Meanwhile, Dan (François Arnaud) wrestles with his guilt at kissing Cora (María Gabriela de Faría). 9:00 PM ET on Fox
NEW EPISODE: Joana Martinez and Shane Q were sent home on last week's episode of The Voice, which leaves just eight semifinalists for tonight's round of live performances. 8:00 PM ET on NBC
NEW EPISODE: The over the top lighting displays continue on The Great Christmas Light Fight with two new episodes beginning at 8:00 PM ET on ABC
